WinDelete 2

WinDelete is the safest, easiest way to uninstall software in Windows. WinDelete's powerful features help you optimize your computer's performance by managing software applications, removing unnecessary file information, and recovering valuable disk space. WinDelete has eight main components which can be accessed through the toolbar, menu bar, Quick Reference Card (main screen) or keyboard. The task you want to perform determines which button you use:

Install: Install an application through WinDelete
Uninstall: Remove an application from your hard disk
Duplicate Finder: Find and remove duplicate files
System Editor: View, modify or print system files
System Tuner: Fine tune your computer system
Graph Viewer: Display a graph of system disk usage
Log Viewer: Display a WinDelete log file
System Consultant: Display and explain your computer system

This program has been included especially to ensure that you do not clutter up your hard drive when installing programs. If the program you are about to install from the SuperCD does not have an uninstall option (this information is contained in the program's information box) then we recommend that you have WinDelete 2 installed and that you run it first and install the new program through WinDelete. If you are running Windows 95 you can do this through the Run command from the Start menu which will show an Install with WinDelete option. Under Windows 3.1 you need to run the main program and then select the install program from there. To do this in both cases, you need to know the path of the executable installation program. This is also shown in the program's information box, so all you need to do is change to the CD drive and then select the folder and then the executable as shown, e.g. Windel2\setup.exe.
